The middle school football team took on Colfax-Mingo Thursday evening in a game that included a mix of 7th and 8th grade talent.  The team pitched a shutout in the 5 quarter game.  The Hawks were able to get 5 takeaways and turned 4 of those takeaways into immediate touchdowns.

Some standouts from the game include:

Worth Henry – 2 int. returned for TDs

Kade Polish – 1 rushing TD / 1 int. returned for TD

Christian Husmann – 1 rushing TD

Trevor Simmons – 1 rushing TD

Dylan Backe – 1 fumble recovery returned for a TD

Dylan Bird – 1 rushing TD
